Trade agreement between the european union and United Kingdom

On 24 december 2020 the european commission and United Kingdom reached an agreement in principle on the conditions for the future relationship with effect from 1 january 2021.

However, the conditions that have been agreed is in no way equivalent to those of the states members of the european Union. Therefore, the end of the transitional period has been the emergence of formalities and barriers in both directions to trade in goods and services and the mobility and cross-border exchanges.
