The national contact point for a Responsible Corporate Citizenship aims to promote in Spain with the guidelines of theOECDResponsible Business conduct for multinational enterprises and manage mechanisms are established in them.
Since its adoption in 1976, the guidelines have been continuously updated to continue to be appropriate to their purpose in the light of the social challenges and the changing context of international business. The update 2023 reflects a decade of experience since its Last review in 2011 and responds to social, environmental priorities and urgent technology facing societies and companies.
The Guidelines as updated in 2023 were published on 8 june in the context of the Ministerial meeting of theOECD. The most important updates are summarizedhere.
