Among the main objectives of the secretary of state for trade is the strengthening of the external sector, both in its export profiles as investor, through various strategies in support of the export and the internationalization of enterprises.

The activities of associations and federations of exporters, and many of their services to their member companies, especially SMES, contribute effectively to maintain export supply spanish consolidated markets and enable their access to those in which there is a market share.

Partnerships also exercised on behalf of their sectors, a significant work in a dialogue to the general state administration. The information it derives facilitates knowledge of spanish business reality and decision-making by the administration.

Therefore, the business management considers it desirable to ensure the strengthening of representative associations the exporter and the stability of these entities, and has constituted a framework for collaboration with the main associations of exporters, in accordance with the Order ICT/870/2023, of 20 july, published in the official gazette of 26 july.

The aid to that, the associations and federations of exporters once recognized, are eligible are two types

• A financial contribution to co-finance their operating costs
• Financial support for the recruitment of legal advice on dispute settlement procedures in multilateral forums, in the implementation of trade defence measures or overcome barriers to trade. The granting of recognition as a partner to associations and federations of exporters periodic required to meet, on the part of these, a series of obligations, relating mainly to the provision of documentation and information. 1. Requirements for requesting annual subsidy

   In accordance with article 2 of the order ICT/870/2023, of 20 july may qualify for assistance in this order established associations and federations partner organizations of the secretary of state for trade.

2. Grant request and documentation that should accompany

3. Justification of the use of funds received

   In the period from 1 september to 31 october each year, the associations and federations that have received a financial contribution from the previous year, will submit a supporting memory and documented justification for the allocation and use of resources. The presentation should be conducted by way of telematics through the electronic site on economy, commerce and enterprise, by electronic signature, choosing, in the list of available electronic procedures, the same as that used for the application of aid, i.e. for Support for associations or Federations of Exporters
