Order ECM/646/2026, dated June 17, has been published, establishing the regulatory framework for the awarding of training grants for control testing of products involved in foreign trade in 2026.
These consist of 17 practical training fellowships in control testing of products subject to foreign trade, within the SOIVRE laboratory network, which aim to promote the training and technical development of university graduates in this field, with the goal of facilitating their entry into the labor market. The objective is to train young graduates in analytical techniques and procedures applicable to the quality control and safety of products subject to foreign trade; to facilitate the professional integration of qualified young people in the analytical field; to support the control and monitoring functions carried out by the Official Service for Inspection, Surveillance, and Regulation of Exports in Spain (SOIVRE) in official laboratories; and to promote technical specialization in national and European regulations related to the international trade of goods.
The fellowships will have a maximum duration of two years, with no possibility of extension, beginning on the date the fellows begin their work following notification of the award decision.
Each fellowship provides a monthly stipend of 1,710 euros gross.
Fellowship recipients will be assigned to the laboratories of the Regional and Provincial Directorates of Commerce, as well as to the Analytical Center for Inspection and Quality Control of Foreign Trade (Central Laboratory) in Madrid.
The evaluation and selection process for applications will consist of a single eliminatory phase, involving the evaluation of the submitted documentation.
The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days from the day following the publication of the excerpt from the corresponding call for applications in the “Official State Gazette”.
