The inspection service SOIVRE of territorial offices and provincial trade, the directorate-General for trade and investment, carries out the inspection and control of the security council (173 Kb) imported industrial goods listed in annex I to the order PRE/735/2010 amending the list of products included in annex I to the Royal Decree 330/2008 of 29 february, which taken to control the importation of certain products concerning the applicable regulations for the safety of products.

How to apply inspection?

Concerned shall notify, by themselves or their representatives, the inspection Service SOIVRE of territorial offices and provincial Trade, importing operations of industrial products that are subject to control by the centres of the inspection service of SOIVRE. Are exempt from notification, and therefore of inspection and control, non-commercial nature expeditions.

The notification may be made through telematics, in writing or by any means of transmission that permits the obtention of documentary evidence, including at least the data listed in article 4. 4 of the royal Decree no. 330/08. The notification will advance, so that if the inspection service SOIVRE deemed necessary, a physical control of the goods, it can be carried at checkpoints.

Inspection

After receiving the request telematics the inspection service will undertake the planned inspection to verify compliance with security requirements set forth in the applicable rules. As a result of the same the goods will be declared to be in conformity, unless evidencie non-conformity in any of the issues discussed, proceeding to issue the corresponding Full Reference number (NRC) validation of telematics for purposes of clearance. The NRC issued by the inspection SOIVRE Service is required for customs clearance for the import of products listed in annex I to the order PRE/735/2010.

In cooperation with other agencies of the spanish administration

The inspection service SOIVRE maintains the appropriate channels of collaboration with the customs department and the national institute of consumption for the control of industrial products imported under Royal Decree 330/2008. In particular, cooperation is particularly important with the rapid exchange of information on products that can lead to a serious risk to the safety of consumers and users
